Creative Director of pod615

As host, producer and Creative Director of pod615 William Kitchens keeps finding new avenues for his "Showman" personality.

With over 46 years of professional music business experience behind him, he looks forward to his new role in Nashville podcast production.

His past resume?

Professional singer, musician and entertainer... From resorts and country clubs to honky tonks and dive bars, he's played them all.

Songwriter...  Numerous songs published here in Nashville including the late  Daron Norwood Billboard charted line dance hit, "Bad Dog, No Biscuit." Co-written with his friend Richard S. Ferrell and released in March of 1995.

The song, produced by Jeff Carlton and Richard Landis for the Giant records label, later made it to television.  In 2008 it was featured in the opening scene of the "Dog Tags" episode of the popular CBS series, N.C.I.S.

Jingle Writer and Producer... Put him in a bowling shirt and call him Charlie Harper.... without the drama. Unlike the character Charlie Sheen portrayed in "Two and Half Men," William has been happily married 29 years.

William's company, American Jingle has produced sung jingle advertising for ad agencies, radio stations and other clients.  These have included  Toyota, Jeep, iHeart Media and a variety of small businesses. Many of which still air today.

Corporate Events... From 2000 to 2008, William's DJ entertainment company, Atlanta Pro DJ provided entertainment services for well known brands such as Joe Gibbs Racing, Interstate Batteries, Victoria's Secret, Leon Bender Foundation, Disney on Ice, Bank of America, ABC Daytime Television, NAPA Racing and more.  In all, nearly a 1000 or so weddings and other private events.

So what does William hope to achieve in his Nashville podcast production projects?

"I want to share the stories of the people, artists, musicians, creatives and business leaders that represent Nashville and middle Tennessee. To learn what inspired them and and document how they inspire us."

"To create an historical record that is educational and entertaining."
